PREVIOUS RANDYKITTY ACCOUNTS
QUESTION: A now-defunct account (Guillaume2303) once admitted to being Wim Crusio, raising questions about unethical self-promotion. Is RandyKitty also Wim Crusio?
Evidence exists to suggest that certain Wikipedia accounts have followed a pattern to edit the same exact articles as RandyKitty1, so we started studying every page that RandyKitty has ever edited and cross-referenced those edits with other accounts. Available evidence suggests that the following accounts were at one point used by RandyKitty:
UB1Talence *This name refers to a region in France familiar to Crusio*
Crusio *This is Crusio's last name*
Guillaume2303 *This account once admitted to being Wim Crusio himself*
While there are other accounts that RandyKitty may have used, these are the only ones that we suspect could be linked directly. In particular, Guillaume2303 spent a great deal of time editing pages that RandyKitty now maintains, such as the Wikipedia page for Wim Crusio, Crusio's Ice Cream, and academic journal pages.
A CLOSER LOOK: GUILLAUME2303 >
Guillaume2303 existed before RandyKitty was ever created, and is responsible for much of the content on many pages relevant to Wim Crusio3. If Wim Crusio is the owner of Guillaume2303, then he could possibly be breaking multiple rules4 due to his alleged promotion of both his family business and his personal biography on Wikipedia.
Evidence suggests that Guillaume2303 admitted on two different occasions to being Wim Crusio.

Guillaume2303 creates a page for Wim Crusio on Wikispecies with the note:
"adding myself... :-)".

This appears to be a direct statement from Guillaume2303 that he is Wim Crusio.

Moreover, nearly 100% of the edits of this page are made solely by Guillaume2303 and RandyKitty.

After creating the Wikipedia page for Wim Crusio, Guillaume2303 uploads an image of Wim, noting in the meta data that he is the subject, creator, and owner of the photo.

Combined with the above item from July 2010, this appears to be further evidence that Guillaume2303 is Wim Crusio.

Pay particular attention to the fact that both users indicate the countries they have lived in (identical for both users) and the countries that they have visited (nearly identical for both users).

The above timeline seeks to provide information for visitors to this website to draw their own conclusions.
The evidence shows that Guillaume2303 stated he is Wim Crusio. Guillaume2303's edit history reveals that he has consistently added positive content to pages relating to Wim Crusio, even going so far as to allegedly use Wikipedia to promote his own career and family business.
Moreover, RandyKitty's edit history also reveals a consistent trend of adding positive content to pages related to Wim Crusio, including his biography, his family business, his hometown, and his academic publishing endeavors.
It appears probable that Guillaume2303 and RandyKitty could be the same person, as both accounts have identical edit histories and user profiles. Their user profiles even go as far as to voluntarily indicate the countries they have lived in.
Did Guillaume2303 and RandyKitty use Wikipedia to promote the career, family business, and interests of Wim Crusio?
If Guillaume2303 is Wim Crusio, and if RandyKitty is Guillaume2303, then should the Wikipedia community take action against RandyKitty for possible self-promotion on Wikipedia?
